![]() Mine is usually done within the hour (cooks hot) but sometimes it can take a little bit longer. The waiting game begins! Turn your crockpot on the “high” setting, cover it, and cook for 1-2 hours, depending on how hot your crockpot gets. If you like it a little spicier, you can adjust your sauce levels accordingly (less ranch, more hot). You’ll want to add in 1 cup of ranch dressing, and 1 cup of Frank’s Buffalo Hot Sauce. Shred those two cans of chicken up, and drop it into the crockpot. You can also trade out the canned chicken for fresh, shredded, or rotisserie-style chicken. Step 3: Shred the chicken & add it inĬanned chicken may seem “gross” to some, but it’s the quickest and easiest way to get this dip moving along! When mixed with the right flavors, you can’t even tell that it comes from a can. That way, when the cheeses all melt, they are easily mixed together. Next, sprinkle that bag of shredded cheese over the blocks of cream cheese. I like to put the blocks of the cream cheese on the bottom of the crockpot as it’s the ingredient that needs the most heat to melt. If you’re in need for one – this cute, new green crockpot is aesthetic and functional for any warm dip/meal needs.
